Sunny and hot in much of central and southern Europe, few showers and fresher in north
Further hot and dry weather for much of Europe. Highs reaching nearly 40C for parts of Spain, also western France, and widely well into the 30s across central Europe including Germany and Italy. Thunderstorms are expected to break out across northern France during the day.
Very warm temperatures continue across the Baltic region, including Sweden and Finland, although it will be fresher in Norway, where there will be occasional rain and thunderstorms. Storms may also affect Denmark and northern Germany. Scattered storms across the Alps too. Dry for eastern Europe, also Greece and Turkey.
Another hot day in Spain and Portugal with some good spells of sunshine and just an odd afternoon shower inland. Fair through the Balearics and into Italy too, more sunshine to come here. Dry, hot and sunny in Greece and Turkey.
An odd shower in southern France, and again in the far north, but overall a fresh day with sunshine and dry conditions. Some thundery rain to be found across the Low Countries, but Germany and Poland will be dry with long spells of sunshine. More sunshine to coem across Austria and Hungary, just a few showers in Switzerland.
Dry in Denmark with sunny spells here. Staying fair across the Baltic States with more spells of sunshine. Scattered showers for Finland and a few affecting the south of Norway and Sweden too. Northern areas should be dry with sunny spells.
