Band of heavy rain passes east across Scandinavia

Friday
Staying dry, fine and very warm across Spain and Portugal. A few showers affecting the Balearcis but Ibiza should be mainly dry. Heavy and thundery showers continue across Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily as well as the northern half of Italy, drier further south. Scattered showers affecting mainland Greece but mostly dry across the islands. Dry and fine through most of Turkey.
A dry and fine day again across north and west France though a few scattered showers across central areas and eastern regions. Dry with sunny spells for the Low Countries as well as much of Germany. Thundery, heavy showers ease off across Austria and Switzerland but continue for Poland and Hungary. The Balkan States also seeing thunderstorms.
Windy across Scandinavia but mostly dry, though cloud and rain affecting western regions of Norway. Dry and fine with sunshine across Denmark. Mainly dry for the Baltics though the odd shower cannot be completely ruled out.

Saturday
Largely dry, fine and warm again across Spain and Portugal with any morning showers across the Balearics moving offshore and away. Still scattered showers affecting Italy and the islands, though it does look to be drier across easternmost regions. Thundery showers affecting the Balkan States into northern Greece, though much of Greece and Turkey should be dry and sunny.
Scattered thunderstorms to affect more of France today though southern regions should stay mostly dry. Largely dry across the Low Countires and just a few showers through central Germany, largely dry elsewhere here. Heavy showers, some thundery across Austria and Switzerland. Largely dry through Poland.
Outbreaks of heavy rainfall across southern Sweden and Finland gradually clear to dry and fine weather from the west and push across the Baltic States in the afternoon. Windy though dry across north Sweden. Windy throghout Norway with rain, sleet and snow affecting northern and western areas. Rain first thing across Denmark will clear to a dry and bright day.
