Fine for much of central and southern Europe, gales in the north

Thursday
A few showers affecting southeastern parts of Spain on Thursday. Fair for most of Spain and Portugal with spells of sunshine. Showers in the Balearics. Dry for Corsica and Sardinia. Heavier showers in eastern and southern Italy but fine to the north and west. Heavy showers or some rain in western Greece but eastern Greece should be dry. Turkey may see scattered showers in the west but should be mostly dry.
Morning mist and fog in France, clearing to leave good spells of sunshine. Further sunshine in the Netherlands and dry too. Breezy for northern Germany with broken cloud. Sunshine in southern Germany. Breezy for Poland with some spots of rain in the north, drier in the south. Hungary should be dry with sunshine, and staying dry with some sunshine in Austria and Switzerland.
Breezy with some showery outbreaks of rain in Denmark. Brezy with rain for the Baltic States, cold and wintry in Finland. Mostly dry through Sweden with cloud being broken with sunny spells. Windy with rain in southern Norway, this falling as sleet and snow in the north.

Friday
Mostly fare across Spain and Portugal through Friday, although there will be a few showers affecting eastern coasts. The central Mediterranean and Italy should be fine and dry with spells of sunshine. Showers affecting western parts of Greece and the east of Turkey, although western Turkey should be dry with sunny spells.
France will see some mist and fog patches in central and northern areas at first, these clearing to leave sunny spells in dry conditions. Breezy through the Netherlands and much of northern Germany with sunny spells and mostly dry weather. A windy day for Poland, a few showers in the north and the east but dry overall. Hungary, Austria and Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Windy in Denmark with broken cloud and some sunny spells, gales affecting much of southern Sweden as well as the Baltic states where they will also be some outbreaks of rain. Lighter winds and sleety rain in the south of Finland, but dry and cold in the north. Some snow showers affecting western part of Norway where it is also going to be windy, but few are showers to the far north.
