Gale force winds across eastern Scandinavia

Friday
Rain continues to affect north and west Portugal as well as northwest Spain, falling heavy at times. Elsewhere here will be dry and fine. Dry with sunshine across Italy and the islands. The Balkans, Greece and Turkey will also be dry with plenty of sun.
Mostly dry and fine for France, though more cloud and the odd spot of rain later for the far northwest region. Breezy along the Belgium and Netherlands coasts otherwise dry with sunny spells. Dry across Austria and Switzerland as well as Germany though breezy here. Dry and fine through eastern Europe.
Sunny spells across Denmark but with a brisk wind. Dry throughout Sweden but again breezy. Outbreaks of rain moving in to Norway. Largely dry across Finland. Some showery rain for the Baltics but mostly dry here.

Saturday
Most of Portugal seeing some rain, heavy in the north, with rain across northwest Spain too. Dry and fine elsewhere here. The rest of the Mediterranean will be dry with plenty of sunshine for most though Malta may just see more variable cloud over.
Mostly dry though breezy across France, though cloud builds across the far northwest again with some patchy rain here later. The rest of central and east Europe stays dry and fine with plenty of sun thanks to high pressure, though northern Poland will be windy.
High winds across northern Sweden, Finland and the Baltic states. Rain clearing from the west across Finland. Some showery rain affecting the Baltics too. Largely dry elsewhere including Denmark.
