Wind and gales in the west, drier for many eastern areas

Tuesday
Rain across northern coasts of Spain. Showers and chilly in central and eastern areas of Spain. Dry in the south and through Portugal with good spells of sunshine. Rain passing south through the Balearics with some heavy rain in Corsica and Sardinia. The rai afecting central and northern parts of Italy, sometimes heavy. The south should be dry with sunny spells. A few showers in western Greece but mostly dry. Turkey will have sunny spells and should be dry too.
A cold day in France with bands of showers moving south, some sunny spells. Heavy and frequent showers for the Low Countries, some of them wintry. Further showers in Germany, most in central and western areas. Poland should be dry with sunny spells, although wind and some rain in the north. Hungary and Austria and swell as Switzerland will be wet.
Chilly for Denmark with sunny spells. Fair in much of Sweden. Rain and sleet will be turning to snow in the Baltic States. Finland will be chilly and dry. Showers in coastal areas of Norway, drier inland with sunny spells.

Wednesday
Heavy showers and rain affecting northern Spain and much of Portugal on Wednesday. A few showers in eastern and southern Spain, windy and cool, but cold in northern and western coasts. Heavy showers affecting the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Further heavy, thundery showers in Italy. Greece is fair with some sunny spells, heavy showers or rain in eastern Turkey.
Heavy showers and some rain in western and southern France. Windy with some rain in the far north. Elsewhere it will be drier and brighter in France with some bright or sunny spells. The Netherlands will have wind and some outbreaks of rain too. Rain in central and southern Germany. Poland will be breezy with some sunshine. Fair for Hungary with lots of sunshine. Austria and Switzerland will have rain, some of it heavy.
Windy in Denmark with some drizzle in places. Fair and cold for the Baltic States and Finland. A cold day to in Sweden, although some coud and a few bits of sleet in the far south. Norway will have snow in the south but much of the country will be fine.
