Heavy rain moving into northern and far western regions this weekend.

Saturday
Dry and bright across Spain and Portugal along with the Balearics on Saturday. An area of low pressure brings showery rain across Sardinia and Sicily with heavy rain across southern Italy. Corsica should see an improving day. Cloud building across Greece with the risk of some showers but mostly dry until evening here. Largely dry and fine through Turkey.
France will be mostly dry with sunny spells though cloud will thicken across the north and west with rain moving into the far northwest later. Dry and mostly fine across the Low Countries, Germany, Switzerland and northern Italy. A risk of showers through Austria and Czechia into Hungary. Showery rain affecting southern Poland, while drier to the north here.
Rather a lot of cloud about across much of Scandinavia with limited sunny spells. Mostly dry though some showers are to be expected, these falling as sleet and snow for some. Windy across west Norway.

Sunday
Outbreaks of rain pushing across northern and western areas of Spain and Portugal today, the south and east staying mostly dry and largely fine, along with the Balearics. A dry and bright day for Sardinia and Corsica though again southern Italy and Sicily will see showers and or longer spells of rain with blustery winds. Cloudy across Greece with showery rain. Largely dry across Turkey though some coastal showers to be expected.
France seeing rain move across northern and western regions, elsewhere dry though with building cloud. Wet with rain and blustery winds through Belgium and Holland into northwest Germany. Elsewhere across Germany will be dry and fine along with eastern Europe and the Alpine countries.
Heavy rain, some sleet and snow too, moving in across southern regions of Norway with blustery winds. Breezy but mostly dry across Sweden. Some patchy rain and sleet through Finland and the Baltics though mostly dry. A dry mornng for Denmark then rain moves in to western areas later with the winds strengthening.
