Unsettled end of week for much of Europe
Rain and showers affecting central Portugal, but drier in the south. Rain in northern Spain, some of it heavy. Drier in southern and eastern Spain. Heavy showers in the Balearics with some heavy periods of rain in northern Italy. Fair for much of central and southern Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry with lots of sunshine.
France will have rain in the east and through central areas, some of it heavy and thundery. Heavy rain or showers in the Low Countries with a risk of thunderstorms. More rain in western Germany but fair in the east. Poland will be dry with sunshine. Staying fair for much of Hungary, although some showers in the west. Austria and Switzerland will be showery, some of these heavy.
Rain and breezy in Denmark. Fair for the Baltic States with some sunny spells. Fair too for Finland and mild here. Breezy in Sweden and fairly mild. More unsettled in Norway with rain in the south. Cooler in the north and dry here.
Rain and showers gradually clearing northern regions of Spain through the day to see drier and brighter weather here and across Portugal. Heavy rain moving across the Balearics with some gusty winds. Unsettled for some across Italy and the Balkans with heavy rain, mostly affecting southern areas but with showers in the north. Dry and fine for Greece and Turkey.
Wet and windy through France for much of the day clearing from the north. Unsettled with showers and or longer spells of rain across the Alpine countries. A stream of rain moving through the Netherlands. It should be drier for Belgium though likely cloudy. Showers and or longer spells of rain across Poland into Hungary.
Wet across particularly western regions of Denmark drier further east. This rain also affecting southern Norway pushing up towards northern regions. Largely dry, fine and mild across Sweden and Finland. Breezy but again mild and fine for the Baltics.
