Torrential, thundery showers in central and southern Europe, but fine, warm and sunny to the north


Sunday
Heavy and thundery showers affecting southern and western Spain on Sunday, these showers troubling southern Portugal too. More showers to come in the balearics, although some very warm sunshine here as well. Thundery showers in southern Italy and Sicily as well as western Greece. eastern Greece will be fine with sunny spells and it should stay mostly fair in much of Turkey.
Showery across all but the northwest of France with some heavy showers here. Further heavy and thundery showers across Switzerland, Hungary and Austria. Scattered showers in the Low Countries and southern Germany, but fine for northern Germany and Poland.
Fair with plenty of sunshine but breezy weather in Denmark. Fine for the Baltic States, lots of warm sunshine here. Staying fine across Finland and Sweden. Much of Norway will be fair with yet more sunshine to come here but some cloud in the north, rain here too.


Monday
Further thundery showers over Spain, most to the south and east. Portugal will be dry with sunny spells. Thundery showers affecting Italy and the west of Greece. Turkey will have a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers.
Heavy and thundery showers developing over France, some torrential. Further showers in the Low Countries and western parts of Germany. Fine for eastern Germany and most of Poland with good spells of sunshine here. Scattered showers in Hungary, but mostly dry for Austria and Switzerland.
A breezy day in Denmark with sunny spells. More sunshine to come in the Baltic States as well as Finland. Sweden will be dry too with further length periods of sunshine. It should stay fair for most of Norway, although cloudier to the far north.
