Wind and rain in northern Europe, drier with sunshine to the south

Wednesday
Cloud and outbreaks of rain through central and northern parts of Spain. Brighter for Portugal and dry here. Fair for eastern and southern Spain, good spells of sunshine and dry. The Balearics should be dry with sunny spells. Fair for much of Corsica and Sardinia. Italy will be fine too with more sunshine here. Some heavy showers in Greece and very unsettled for eastern Greece, Turkey and Crete.
Rain and wind for northern France, Drier in central France but some rain in the south. Wind and periods of rain in the Low Countries, dry with some sunshine for Germany. Cloud and some rain in central Portugal. Hungary should be dry and sunny. Rain in western Norway, wet in Switzerland with some welcome snow over the ski-ing resorts of the Alps.
Windy with sunny spells and a few squally showers in Denmark. Windy and wet for the Baltic States with some wind and snow for Finland. Further wind and some dry weather for Sweden. Wind, rain and sleet in southern Norway, snow showers and colder in central and northern Norway.

Thursday
Fair for Spain and Portugal, lots of sunshine and dry too. The Balearics will be fine with sunshine and it should be remaining fair for Corsica and Sardinia. Some rain in southern Italy, but fair in the north. A few showers in western Greece although dry for most. Cool with some heavy showers in Turkey.
Cloudy with some drizzle in western France. Patchy rain in the south Fair in other areas with sunny spells. Windy for the Low Countries with some showers. Windy across Germany too with showers in the north and west. Rain affecting Poland where it stays breezy. Cloud and some rain in Hungary as well as Austria and Switzerland.
Wind and rain in Denmark. Further rain for southern Sweden and this extending into the Baltic States. Finland is mild and damp. Drier for northern Sweden with some snow showers in the west of Norway.
