Showery Mediterranean, Italy and Greece
Monday Extensive heavy rain sweeps into southwestern Spain and southern Portugal. Some rain extending eastwards, but largely dry toward northern Spain. The Balearics generally dry. Showery rain for Corsica and Sardinia. More frequent rain for western Italy, drier to the east. Heavy rain over the central Mediterranean moves toward Greece from the southwest later, but the Aegean Sea, Turkiye and Cyprus stay dry and mostly sunny. Quiet but cloudy weather through much of France, some rain toward the Alps, plus snow in the mountains. Staying settled through the Low Countries, Germany and eastern Europe with areas of fog and low cloud, but also some sun. Also dry into southern Scandinavia. Chilly southeasterly breezes for the Baltic. Some snow flurries for northern Sweden. A little rain for far west of Norway. Chilly and dry through Finland. Local snow showers in the far north.
Tuesday Staying very unsettled for Spain and Portugal, further heavy and thundery rain in the southwest plus strong winds. Some rain for the Balearics, drier toward Corsica and Sardinia. Showery rain for western Italy, drier eastwards. Some rain too for the Balkan coastline and mainland Greece, a few showers for the Greek Islands and western Turkiye. Much of France will be dry, but some rain moves into southern areas and winds increase near Biscay bringing rain later here too. Dry for the Low Countries and Germany. Largely dry through the Alps. Staying dry across eastern Europe with a mix of cloud and sun. Windy through the northern Baltic. Rain and snow affects central-northern Sweden and southern Finland, whilst southern Scandinavia will be often dry. Local showers for Denmark and western Norway.
