Hot and sunny southern Europe, heavy showers in the north

Thursday
Some thunderstorms developing over the northeast of Spain on Thursday. Fair for the rest of Spain and Portugal with sunshine. The Balearics have a fine day as well with Italy staying hot and sunny. Greece and Turkey will have more hot weather as well as sunshine.
Rain for the north of France and through the Low Countries. Further cloud and rain in central and northern Germany. Poland will be dry with some sunny spells, Hungary and Austria as well as Switzerland will be dry with sunny spells.
Showers for Denmark. Fair on the Baltic States with some sunshine here. A few showers in Finland. Further showers, some of them heavy for Sweden. Norway will also have showers but with some sunshine in between.

Friday
Some cloud and outbreaks of rain affecting northern coasts of Spain. Sunny spells for the rest of Spain and Portugal as well as being hot. Italy remains hot and sunny, a few showers in the north. Greece and Turkey will be dry with lots of sunshine and remaining hot.
Rain and cloud for northern France. Scattered showers and sunny spells but mostly dry in the south of France. Rain and cloud for the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland. Showers in southern Poland and southern Germany with Hungary being dry. Heavy showers in Austria and Switzerland.
Sunny spells for Denmark and dry too. Scattered showers across the Baltic States. Heavier showers in Finland and northern Sweden. The south of Sweden will be dry with sunny spells whilst heavy showers affect Norway.
