Thunderstorms move from the Low Countries across Germany
Sunday Another hot and sunny day for Spain and Portugal, chance of local showers in the north. Fine summer weather extends across the Mediterranean, including Italy and Greece. Local showers form on Cyprus. Northern Turkey see heavy rain and thunderstorms. Southern France will be fine, but showers and thunderstorms affect northern France. A cluster of severe thunderstorms is likely to push northeast across Belgium, the Netherlands and western Germany later in the day. A fine, sunny and hot day for eastern Germany and Poland. Also hot and sunny for Austria, Hungary and the Balkans. Chance of a shower for the central Alps. Much of Scandinavia will be fine, sunny and warm. A risk of showers in southern Norway, later a front arriving from the southwest brings some rain. Thundery rain may also reach Denmark after sunset, otherwise a fine hot day here.
Monday Hot and sunny for Spain, Portugal and much of the Mediterranean. Isolated showers in southern Spain and on the spine of Italy. Sunshine for Greece and Turkey. Thundery showers form during the afternoon over the Alps and into Hungary and Romania. Dry and sunny for France and the Low Countries. Some thundery rain pushes east across Germany into Poland during the day. Heavy and thundery rain clears from Denmark but heavy rain sets in for southern Norway and Sweden as a cold front pushes in. Northern Scandinavia and the Baltic states will be dry and warm.
